At first, Fintech start-ups were seen as a threat to the major banks, however it is becoming more common to read about how the banks and the Fintech companies are working together creating collaborative initiatives.
Although the Fintech industry is thriving, start-ups find it difficult to succeed lacking crucial elements to scale their product. Banks on the other hand have not had much space for innovation outside of their core working environment.
Amongst other factors, both banks and Fintech start-ups see the value of mutually beneficial work when bringing together the strengths of both parties.
