The World Bank to drive innovation in Africa

The World Bank is launching an accelerator programme focussed on supporting digital startups from Sub-Saharan Africa.

It will be a five month programme of which they will go through a curriculum as well as receive mentorship and the opportunity to attract capital.

The World Bank believes “Digital startups are important drivers of innovation in Africa”.

This will also unlock investment opportunities for regional and global investors.
